THE STORY BEHIND PARADISE

Paradise didn’t start as a big plan.

It started in a garage with a pair of clippers and people who trusted me with their hair.

I began cutting in high school — family, friends, teammates — just trying to get better every day. What started as something small slowly became something I truly loved. I spent years cutting in American Canyon and Vallejo, learning not just how to fade hair, but how to build relationships and earn trust.

As my passion grew, so did my hunger to improve. I traveled to barber shows in Los Angeles and New York, competed in barber battles, and invested in classes to sharpen my skills. I always believed that if I was going to do this, I was going to do it the right way always learning, always growing.

In 2021, after everything the world went through during Covid, I took a leap of faith and opened Paradise Barbershop.

It wasn’t just about opening a shop.

It was about creating a space where people feel welcome, confident, and at home.

Over the years, I’ve learned that being a barber is about more than a haircut. It’s about conversation. It’s about community. It’s about showing up for people.

That’s why we stay involved outside the shop too — from back-to-school haircut events to local markets and festivals like BottleRock Napa Valley. Being part of this community means everything to me. Paradise isn’t just where we work it’s where we serve.
